Business Development Executive (IT Services & Staffing)

Role Overview

Zenkins is looking for a motivated and consultative Business Development Executive to support the growth of our Managed IT Services and IT Staffing offerings. This role focuses on identifying organizations that require reliable IT support, service desk operations, and dedicated technical teams, and positioning Zenkins as a long-term technology partner.

You will work closely with technical, delivery, and recruitment teams to ensure smooth handover from client acquisition to service delivery.


Key Responsibilities

1. Client Prospecting & Market Outreach

  • Identify and engage mid-sized and enterprise organizations seeking outsourced IT support services such as Help Desk, Service Desk, and Infrastructure Support.
  • Target industries where business continuity and IT uptime are critical, including BFSI, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, and Technology-driven enterprises.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers such as IT Heads, CIOs, CTOs, Operations Leaders, and Procurement teams using professional networks and outbound channels.

2. Consultative Solution Selling

  • Understand client challenges related to IT operations, service availability, support scalability, and internal resource constraints.
  • Position Zenkins’ Managed IT Services, MSP models, and dedicated support teams as strategic solutions aligned to client needs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create tailored proposals, solution presentations, and commercial documentation.
  • Support negotiations and contract finalization in alignment with company guidelines.

3. Account Coordination & Growth Support

  • Ensure seamless transition from business development to delivery by coordinating with technical and recruitment teams.
  • Maintain strong client relationships during onboarding and ongoing engagement.
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion through additional services, extended support coverage, or new technology requirements.
  • Support contract renewals and long-term account continuity initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Skills

  • Strong understanding of IT support models including L1, L2, L3 support, Service Desk, NOC, and Managed IT Services.
  • Familiarity with IT service delivery concepts such as ITSM, ITIL, SLAs, and Statements of Work.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical solutions in a clear and business-oriented manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Professional Background

  • Prior experience in IT services sales, managed services, IT staffing, or enterprise technology solutions.
  • Experience working with mid-market or enterprise clients is preferred.
  • Education background such as BCA, B.Tech, MBA in Marketing or IT, or equivalent professional experience.
